Application Center for laser welding techniques
The LPKF Laser Plastic Welding Application Center enables customers to benefit from the advantages of laser plastic welding without making their own investments in equipment. All LPKF laser welding systems are available in a machine shop measuring more than 500 square meters – all the different variants are ready for use for virtually any conceivable application. Batch-capable systems can for instance be used to join the first prototypes using innovative laser plastic welding techniques.
A well-equipped laboratory with a wide range of analytical equipment is available to evaluate experiments, processes, and underpin quality assurance. All of the welding machines are fitted with online process control systems to also assist in selecting and inspecting the best monitoring methods for a whole range of applications. The service spectrum is rounded off by the ability to implement assembly and testing processes during the mini-series or medium-series production of modules.
The Application Center provides end-to-end advice and assistance from the first concept sketch right through to batch production. Its technicians, engineers and physicists boast many years of experience, and a wide range of process engineering expertise on laser plastic welding to help clients optimize their own laser welding systems. In addition, LPKF Laser Welding can also be contracted as a service provider to implement complete work packages.
Its spectrum of services encompasses every aspect of product generation. LaserMicronics GmbH takes on job shop contracts using LPKF laser welding machines at the same location.
